Overview

Copyright is made to keep people from stealing other people’s work. In the realm of web design this encompasses everything on the web unless it is explicitly stated that it’s free. Anything that you may create and make tangible is protected by copyright. Though a copyright is only worth as much as your willing to pay to defend it it does give you the legal right to copy produce and distribute your work.

Adherence

As I have created my site I have followed copyright laws by creating all my own graphics, images, text and code. I have never copied anyone’s work in any form as I created my site. I would ask everyone who reads this page to adhere to copyright laws. Not only because it is the right thing to do but because it makes the world a better place. If we ignore copyright there will be less incentive to do create. If you cannot be insured that you will be the one to benefit from what you have created than you might choose not to create at all. It is better that we all obey copyright laws giving credit to who credit is due.
